for the record i'm terrified of pregnancy and all things motherhood, but if i had a child i'd name it Friday, because friday is possibility and liberation and general lackadaisical loveliness.

today is the first in forever i don't have huge things i have to do and it's a delicious, intoxicating day; i'm just going to do a lot of constructive nothing.
and there's a difference between nothing and constructive nothing...constructive nothing is a decision, one just does whatever fancy says and enjoys breathing. mine will probably include watching movies walking outside listening to rain napping jamming music too loud staying up way late making collages and having ridiculously long phone conversations with friends i haven't seen in forever and casual drinking and doing laundry. yes, i like to do my laundry, actually; it makes me feel virtuous when i really don't have to do anything.

i'm in love with today and it's wonderful. today i can breathe.
